Excel shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts for Excel on Windows, for daily work and for training. There are two kinds, and only one of them depends on the language of your Excel.

Key combinations: the same in English and Dutch Excel

Hold the first keys down and press the last one, for example Ctrl+Shift+L. They work the same whatever language your Excel is in.

Ribbon sequences: different per language

Press Alt, let go, then press the letters one at a time, for example Alt, H, A, C. The letters come from the ribbon labels, so Dutch Excel uses other letters than English Excel. Press Alt in Excel and the letters appear on the ribbon.

For Excel for Microsoft 365 on Windows. On a Mac many shortcuts use Cmd instead of Ctrl.
